The following are short bios on our senior leadership team, who has more than 150 years of combined experience in charitable, estate, tax, and legal planning:

Bill Williams – Chief Executive Officer Bill Williams began serving National Christian Foundation as Chief Executive Officer in November, 2010. Prior to that time, Bill had served as Generous Giving's CEO since 2008. Before joining Generous Giving, he had a successful 30 year career with the BellSouth Corporation, serving in 21 positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of technology, operations, planning, strategy, and new business development. Bill has a BSEE degree from Georgia Tech and was inducted as a Distinguished Alumnus in 1999. He has an MBA from Georgia State University with a concentration in Finance, and is an MIT Senior Executive Fellow. Bill is an active member of Passion City Church in Atlanta. He currently is a board member of The Seed Company (a division of Wycliffe Bible Translators), and serves as Chairman of the Board of the Georgia Technology Authority. Bill and his wife Regina have been married for 39 years and have three grown sons, two daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren. |

Terry Parker – Founder and Board Member A retired senior partner in the 475-member law firm of Womble, Carlyle, Sandridge, & Rice, Terry Parker has been instrumental in helping to create over 100 non-profit Christian organizations and churches. He has also served on a number of their boards. Terry received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and his Master of Law in Taxation and Doctor of Law degrees from Emory University School of Law. He has done extensive legal work in the estate and gift planning fields. Licensed to practice law since 1965, Terry is admitted to practice before all Georgia courts, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. |

David Wills – President David Wills has served as president of National Christian Foundation since 1998. His passions are centered on generosity and eternity, and he therefore invests his time helping others "lay up treasure in heaven" (Matt. 6:20). David has practiced law since 1988 and his primary areas of practice for the last 22 years include charitable gift planning, exempt organizations (specifically in the public and private foundation arenas), estate planning, and fiduciary-related matters. He lectures throughout the country on issues involving foundations and non-profit organizations, the transition of wealth, responsibility from one generation to the next, as well as tax and spiritual issues in charitable giving. He earned a B.B.A and a J.D. from Baylor University and completed post-graduate work at Dallas Theological Seminary. David serves on numerous boards, including Generous Giving, Hope for the Heart, Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), and the ProVision Foundation. Texas natives, David and his wife, Chris, live on a farm north of Atlanta with their seven children. |

Ken Bowers – Chief Operating Officer Ken Bowers brings more than 25 years of management experience to his role as head of operations. Prior to joining National Christian Foundation, he worked as a controller in the corporate accounting areas of Lanier Worldwide, Inc. and MCI Telecommunications, Inc. Ken has also served as CFO of two start-up technology companies in Atlanta and provided management consulting services to entrepreneurial firms in the Southeast. He received his B.A. in Accounting from Mercer University in Atlanta and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. |

Dave Johnson – Chief Financial and Investment Officer Dave Johnson has served in a senior financial executive role for over 15 years and oversees the finance, accounting, and regulatory compliance functions of National Christian Foundation. He became a CPA while working in the audit practice at Deloitte & Touche's San Diego office. He then served as the CFO of The INJOY Group, a conglomerate of companies that specialize in leadership development, church growth, and capital-fundraising consulting for private and non-profit organizations. Dave came to NCF after serving as a consultant to small businesses in the areas of finance, accounting, and administrative management. He received his B.S. in accounting from San Diego State University, his MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, and is a licensed CPA in California and Georgia. |

Tim Townsend, J.D. – General Counsel Tim Townsend has practiced corporate and tax law since 1991, most recently as a principal with the Atlanta law firm of Townsend McKee, P.C. (now McKee & McKee). In addition to business clients, Tim served numerous denominations, colleges, national ministries, churches, and family foundations. He has freqently addressed complex exempt-organization legal issues, and has spoken on such issues for various professional organizations, including the Georgia Society of CPA's. Tim received his B.S. degree in Accounting from Bob Jones University in South Carolina, and his law degree from the University of Michigan. He serves as an elder on the session of his church, and as advisor to his church's summer youth camp. |

Dave Worland – Executive Vice President, Outreach Dave Worland is responsible for providing oversight to the team that provides management of Outside Relationship Managers, Gift Planning, Visionary leadership to Local Initiative, Marketing, Professional Advisor, Ministry & Church channels, Strategic Partners, and the Generous Community Initiative. He has 13 years of experience in managing non-profit organizations in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia, and seven years of experience in bank management in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dave also oversees the Association of Christian Foundations and is involved with gifting goals and strategies of individual donors for NCF nationwide. Prior to joining NCF, Dave served as the founding president of the first local Christian community foundation in the country, the Chattanooga Christian Community Foundation. He holds a B.A. in non-profit administration from High Point University in North Carolina. |
